Only since the nineties, a sports suspension can also be installed on your own car. So it is also at high speeds harder and safer in the curve, looks sportier and becomes an absolute eye-catcher. In contrast to the normal springs, a coilover suspension can be adjusted by means of locknuts on the thread of the shock absorber. So you can set your vehicle particularly deep in summer tires with rims and other conversions on your car and turn it up again in winter with snow, black ice and winter tires.

When about 10 years ago, the first air suspensions in the tuning scene made for enthusiasm, were to today Airrids still prototypes and the cornering behavior was really spongy.
However, a lot has been improved in the last few years and so today a well-known air suspension (KW - FAHRWairK, Air Lift, zero-bar or Performance Airride) is always a good choice. G.A.S had even used an air suspension in 2007 in the 24-hour race. Often you can choose between 3 or even 4 variants. With these variants one can choose between manual pressure and rebound adjustment. Even an electronic hardness adjustment from the comfort of the interior is possible. A good air suspension is today no longer inferior to a KW chassis or Bilstein.
