Turbo Muffler Pipe & Turbo Outlet Hose

By installing the APR Turbo Muffler, the air flow is increased and directed more evenly. We also restore the turbocharger sound that was eliminated at the factory by minimizing the constriction paths. This removes turbulence in the air flow and increases performance. In addition, the outlet of the silencer pipe has been enlarged by 66% compared to the original. By increasing the entire system, the charge air system could be increased to the level of the more powerful Volkswagen Golf R or Audi S3. To ensure proper engine operation, the crankcase ventilation on the turbo muffler was not removed. No further seals are required for installation.
Turbo Outlet Pipe

The APR Turbo Outlet Pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe with a high-quality aluminum pipe with a consistent inner diameter. In order to maximize performance, special attention was paid during development to creating as few bends and narrow pipe runs as possible. Since the factory-installed plastic pipes begin to melt and break under extreme conditions, additional work was carried out to improve the stability of the Turbo Outlet Pipe. The pipe has rolled connection points to prevent the hose from slipping. All mounting brackets are TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welded which ensure a strong connection. As is already known from other products, the APR surface is typically coated in satin black. All of these changes result in a reliable setup that delivers smooth and strong airflow. The respective hoses are compatible with both the series and APR charging hoses.
Intercooler Hoses

The APR intercooler hoses replace the factory rubber hoses and threaded clamps with high quality multi-layer silicone hoses and Clampco T-bolt clamps. The interior of the hoses is smooth and lined with a fluoro-silicone material. This was designed through extensive development work and increases the service life of the components immensely. Step lips in the hoses ensure a smooth connection between hose and pipe for uninterrupted airflow. By having as few bends as possible and tight curve radii, we pay great attention to a smooth and interference-free air flow. The hose material also adheres to the surface of the counterpart under high temperatures to create a stronger, leak-free and slip-free connection. The intercooler hoses impress with their high reliability and maximum air flow properties. The hoses are compatible with both stock and upgraded APR charge pipes and intercoolers.
Throttle Body Pipe

The aluminum throttle body pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe, which has a more constant diameter. During development, the air flow was optimized to a maximum by producing as few arches and narrow radius curves as possible. The inner piping shines with its durable material, which can also withstand extreme conditions. The pipe has an additional connection that can be used for water/methanol injection, for example. The connection can be closed at any time when not in use using an NPT valve (high pressure ball valve). To prevent the hoses from slipping, the pipe has rolled connection points. The TIG welded (tungsten intergas weld) mounting brackets and sensor connections ensure a strong connection. In addition, the throttle body pipe was painted on the surface with a black satin color. All of the features mentioned lead to a reliable setup that leads to higher performance on the vehicle. The tube is compatible with both stock and APR charging hoses.
