For the first time, the Active Sound System was factory-fitted by Audi at all Bi Turbo TDI engines with 313 PS. The functioning of this system is based on one or two external noise generators (sound actuator). In the sound actuators very high-quality loudspeakers are installed, which simulate a voluminous engine sound.
With a diesel vehicle you can not produce a good sound with any sports exhaust system! Since the eletronic noise generation is simply a must for good sound. With a gasoline engine, the system is the perfect complement for a great sound.
Fully operable via original buttons from the vehicle. No extra cables and no extra buttons!
Operating options:
Profile switching via original buttons
Menu operation via app
Individually adjust up to 5 profiles in volume, idle, sound and engine startup accompaniment.
Ask about the app itself, how you want to switch these profiles. For example via the ESP, PDC buttons or via the driving experience switches such as "ECO", "SPORT" or "COMFORT" etc.
You can have your car roar through DEMO mode even though the engine is off. Self-accelerating over your cell phone is possible. Ideal for demonstrating the system.
"Volume while driving". Many vehicles allow you to use certain buttons on the vehicle to change the volume while driving.
