This EGO-X exhaust system for the VW Golf 8 GTI / Clubsport / Edition 45 is handcrafted using the TIG welding process and dampers with the absorption principle are used.
The exhaust system is non-resonated and has no front or middle silencer in order to be able to guarantee maximum sound enjoyment when the flap is open.

Note: For the Clubsport/ Edition 45 we recommend the tailpipe version in 126x94 carbon or stainless steel, as this perfectly and harmoniously fills the OEM cut-out. These are not suitable for the GTI with 245PS!

With ECE operating permit*:
This flap exhaust system has an ECE (ECE) approval, so that it can be moved on the road without an entry in your vehicle documents.
Attention: The exhaust systems with ECE are not affected by the "flap ban" and may continue to be used legally in road traffic.

While driving, you can decide whether you want to drive in Comfort or Sport mode. If your vehicle has a driving profile selection, it can be controlled via this.
For vehicles without a driving profile selection, this control can be carried out using a button supplied. The button uses its LED lighting to indicate whether the flap is currently open (light off) or closed (light on).
The control unit automatically closes the flap in all areas required by the ECE regulation, no matter what mode you are driving.

In general, the Bull-X Tronic offers two control options:
- The flap is always open within the approved framework of the ECE regulation. When stationary, the flap is also open, since with this system we do not exceed the stationary noise entered in the vehicle registration document even with the flap open. In the range of 20-80km/h the flap is always closed.
- Comfort mode: The flap is always closed, but opens within the approved framework of the ECE regulation while driving from 75% open throttle position.
