The high-performance charge air cooler has the following net dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16.5L) and thus offers an 84% larger inflow surface, as well as 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high performance net provides the adjacent components, e.g. the water cooler, enough airflow. It is a high quality tube fin net with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized under flow analyzes in the CFD system. With the help of incorporated air baffles, in the entrance, a uniform filling of the intercooler is ensured. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. Thus, this kit is ideal for racing. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conduction properties. This guarantees a permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the cross-beam form a stable unit and, thanks to the new Competition high-performance net, weighs just 14.3 kg. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1: 1 replacement). Up to 6 bar tested and pressure stable. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
