ST THREAD DRIVES
The ST coilover kits allow a stepless adjustment of the thread from moderate to eXtreme lowering. Based on the know-how of KW, the market leader for individual suspension solutions, the ST X coilover kits are convincing due to their quality and driving dynamics.
The ST coilover kits made by KW can be quickly and easily adjusted via the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized and multi-sealed strut at the level of the lowering. To do this, the ST polyamide threaded spring ring is turned up or down when installed. The adjustment range is different for each vehicle, it is approximately 35-65 mm for the Audi A3 on the front and rear axle. In a vehicle that is already relatively low in production, such as the BMW 3 Series (E9x), the ST X coilover kits allow individual lowering in the range of 30 to 60 mm at the front and 25 to 55 mm at the rear. On vehicles with non-wheel-guiding double wishbone rear axles, the lowering is set via the ST X coilover rear axle height adjustment.
A damper tuning for more driving pleasure
The suspension setup used by ST Suspensions in cooperation with KW focuses on a sporty vote. This reduces the typical rolling and rolling movements of the body during compression. A vehicle equipped with an ST X coilover kit acts more directly on all driving maneuvers and is significantly more agile when driving. For example, during braking maneuvers the nose of the vehicle dips less and the handling characteristics increase. The high-quality workmanship of the ST X coilover kits included a low-friction and pressure-resistant housing as well as a chrome-plated piston rod. The monobloc guiding and sealing package, which protects the two-pipe damper from the ingress of dirt particles, also ensures long-lasting driving pleasure.
